Spikes Asia unveils jury line-up

ASIA-PACIFIC - The Spikes Asia festival has announced its TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury.

The jury includes:

• David Droga, creative chairman, Droga5, USA - jury president
• Warren Brown, ECD, BMF Australia
• Edmund Choe, ECD Greater China, Saatchi & Saatchi China
• Piyush Pandey, executive chairman/national creative director, Ogilvy & Mather India
• Prasoon Joshi, executive chairman/regional ECD Asia Pacific, McCann Erickson India
• Akira Kagami, ECD, Dentsu Japan
• John Merrifield, creative at large, TBWAAsia-Pacific, Singapore
• Calvin Soh, vice chairman/chief creative officer, Publicis Asia, Singapore
• Jureeporn Thaidumrong, founder/creative chairwoman, JEH United Thailand
• David Guerrero, chairman/chief creative officer, BBDO Guerrero, Philippines
• Bil Bungay, co-founder/creative partner, Beattie McGuiness Bungay, UK
• Ty Montague, co-president North America, JWT, USA

Terry Savage, chairman of Cannes Lions, which jointly organises Spikes Asia with Haymarket (publisher of Media), said: “This is an incredibly powerful jury line-up as is befitting for the revamped Spikes Asia. We are privileged to bring together such an incredible group of industry leaders to judge the equally fantastic work being produced in the region.” 

Laura Desmond, CEO of Starcom Mediavest Group (SMG), will chair the Spikes Media jury while Fred Koblinger, CEO of PKP Proximity and BBDO Holding of Austria, is this year’s jury president for Digital, Direct and Promo.
