The festival, which this year grows from three days to four and moves to the week following the Singapore Grand Prix, features seminars and forums, exhibitions, networking events and the Spikes Asia awards ceremony.
“It’s a really exciting time for Spikes Asia, not only because of its extended duration, but also because there are a host of new initiatives that put the spotlight on talent and training as well as new entry categories that reflect the direction of the industry in APAC," said Terry Savage, chairman of Lions Festivals. "It is without doubt the must-attend event for the region’s industry.”
Two new entry categories are being introduced at Spikes Asia this year. The Innovation category will award breakthrough technology and innovation, and the Healthcare category will honour the "brave and innovative communications ideas that have overcome the unique challenges faced by healthcare brands, and succeeded—through creativity—in generating value and changing lives".
The festival will also include additions to the academy programme that will offer increased learning opportunities across a broader spectrum of the industry.
An early-bird rate of S$1,100 for delegate packages will be available until 17 July. Other packages are available specifically for the younger generation and include the Young Spikes Creative, for creatives aged 28 or under, the Young Spikes Marketer, for marketers aged 30 or under and the Spikes Student, offered to students aged 23 or under. Further details of all of the packages, along with how to register and be a part of the event, can be found on the Spikes Asia website.
The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity is a collaboration between Lions Festivals, organisers of Cannes Lions, Lions Health, Dubai Lynx and Eurobest, and Haymarket, publishers of Campaign Asia-Pacific.
