The move is the latest in a major reorganisation within SPH magazines, which began last autumn and saw Blu Inc Media and its titles absorbed into the group. Wang joins from local events company Events Creation, where she served as GM and associate publisher. Prior to that, she was an associate publisher at Sun Business Network.
Late last year, the company began building a new management team to oversee the entire stable of titles. In November, Allen Loh was named MD of the general lifestyle division, while Caroline Ngui was appointed group editor-in-chief.
Separately, Penelope Chan will join SPH Magazines as editor of Simply Her, which targets working women.
