Spanish shop wins Direct honours at Cannes

CANNES - Spanish agency Shackleton has taken home the Direct Grand Prix at Cannes, and has also been named Direct Agency of the Year.

The agency triumphed with its ‘Lopetegui Deposit’ viral campaign for Banco Gallego. Meanwhile, Asia-Pacific’s winners were led by Arc Worldwide Malaysia, which scored a Gold Lion for its ‘Stick & Save’ campaign on behalf of Trees, and Clemenger BBDO Wellington, which did likewise for its ‘Phone Legends’ campaign for Land Transport NZ.

Naga DDB Malaysia won a Silver Lion for its Iseo Asia ‘Break In’ work, while Australian agencies picked up two Silver Lions and five Bronze Lions. Grey Hong Kong scored a Bronze Lion thanks to its ‘Hangman Clothes’ campaign for Amnesty International, while India’s Everest Brand Solutions and Ogilvy & Mather Bangalore also took home Bronze Lions, along with Japan’s ADK Tokyo and OgilvyOne Malaysia.
