Southeast Asia: Headlines - SPH ups ad rates by 5pc on flagship newspapers
Singapore Press Holdings, owner of The Straits Times and The Sunday Times, is pushing up ad rates for the two papers by about five per cent from September. SPH blamed rising newsprint prices, a trend it expects to continue through 2004, for the rise.
