South East Asia: Headline - MediaCorp fined over lewd content on radio show
MediaCorp Radio has been fined S$30,000 (US$17,640) by Singapore's media regulator for airing sexually suggestive material on the morning radio show Perfect 10. Two DJs were fired and a third suspended after viewers complained about the show's lewd content. (Media, August 27) MediaCorp Radio could have been fined up to $50,000 for a breach of the programme code.
