Turnbull, who reports to publisher Taddeus Beczak, takes on the role of associate publisher of marketing where she will develop marketing strategies aimed at maximising readership and revenue.
She will also be responsible for implementing marketing activities, product launches and research projects, as well as working closely with the newspaper's editorial team to create new products and enhance existing ones.
Turnbull has 12 years of experience in magazine publishing in Britain, Hong Kong and Asia, including China, with IPC Magazines and Hachette Filipacchi Medias.
Turnbull's last position with Hachette was managing director, responsible for managing the group's publishing activities in the Hong Kong market. She joined Hachette in 1994.
