Sony signs Impact for India BTL remit

Sony India has tapped Impact Marketing Services to run its entire below-the-line business.

Impact, which won the account in a multi-agency pitch, will manage all events, promotions, merchandising and retail business for Sony. The account will be handled out of the Delhi office.

The agency is currently executing a six-month BTL campaign for the digital imaging category, which will run until the end of the year. Rajesh Menon, director, Impact Marketing, said the objective was to create awareness in 11 markets.

The account is led by Nishit Srivastav, business head for Sony India. Srivastav will work with Sony's head of marketing communications, Cyril Mani.

Impact Marketing will have 30 people executives for Sony account, working across 22 branches of the client across the country.
