Sony link helps StarHub bust customer target
<p>SINGAPORE: Newcomer StarHub has raced past the 300,000 customer </p><p>mark for mobile services, 11 months after its launch, exceeding its </p><p>first year sales target of 200,000 customers. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Celebrating its first anniversary this month, StarHub said per second </p><p>billing, free incoming calls and marketing link-ups with Sony music </p><p>stars helped it surpass business targets. In one of its promotions, </p><p>featuring Sony stars Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin, StarHub launched </p><p>its "Green Card" pre-paid mobile package to target the youth segment </p><p>ahead of Virgin Mobile's launch later this year. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>StarHub offered a free copy of Lopez's j.Lo or Martin's Sound Loaded </p><p>album with every receipt for three Sdollars 18 (about USdollars 10)Green </p><p>Cards purchased. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>To raise awareness for the initiative, StarHub and Sony Music ran a </p><p>TVcampaign and also sponsored TCS 5's "Crazy, Sexy, Cool - J. Lo </p><p>Special" after lobbying the television station to broadcast the show. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
