Sony Ericsson launches biggest regional campaign to date

SINGAPORE - Sony Ericsson and Saatchi & Saatchi have launched their biggest regional campaign to date, for the W910i and W580i mobile phones.

The new models are equipped with Shake Control, which allow users to change song tracks by jerking their phones forwards or backwards. A TVC has debuted in Singapore and will roll out across the region.

The spot opens with a rock star being catapulted out of a concert stadium, and replaced by a Shakira look-a-like. Seconds later, the pop star is likewise thrown out and replaced by a group of hip-hop artists.

Saatchis has also designed manga-like caricatures to personify various music genres. These were developed into life-sized standees and integrated into the product microsite at www.sonyericsson.com/experiencemusic.
