The deal allows Sohu to offer live webcasts and video-on-demand for the competitions together with the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games.
As the only Chinese online media company to have exclusive access to Olympics content, Sohu has also formed a collaborative deal with 15 Chinese newspapers. The members of alliance will join forces and share resources to provide Olympics-related coverage and reporting.

BEIJING - Beijing Olympics online sponsor Sohu.com has been awarded the new media rights to internet broadcasting for the upcoming Games, after signing an agreement with its official internet/mobile broadcaster, CCTV.com.
