Soh to expand role at Fallon Asia after Yeo's March exit

Fallon Asia managing partner and creative director Yang Yeo is to leave the agency in March, four years after founding the two Fallon offices in Singapore and Hong Kong with his creative partner, Fallon Asia president and creative director Calvin Soh.

Yeo is expected to leave Singapore, but could not confirm his plans, citing agency and client confidentiality concerns. Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong are all believed to be possible destinations for the creative, whose experience also includes stints at Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, Ogilvy and BBH London. Soh, who will assume Yeo's responsibilities, said: "Yang leaves with our blessing and on the back of the agency's most successful new business quarter. As is Fallon's policy of developing talent, we will also take this opportunity to restructure and give our people the chance to grow." Soh, who launched Fallon Asia with Yeo in early 2002, also noted that "(Yeo) is one of a rare breed of business-minded creatives. He is also a great friend and I thank him wholeheartedly for being part of Fallon's journey." Fallon recently won assignments from CNBC and VivoCity during the last quarter of 2005.
