Skoda and MyClick in US campaign

HONG KONG - Czech automaker Skoda has extended its partnership with Hong Kong mobile marketing firm MyClick to launch a campaign promoting its new Fabia model in the United States.

In the promotion, Skoda’s audience uses MyClick’s image-recognition technology to access information by taking photos of the Fabia logo with their handset's camera.

After taking a picture of the icon, users send the image to a specified phone number via MMS to receive information surrounding the ‘Believe In life’ campaign. They can also receive information on new products, roadshows, test-drive bookings and video clip downloads.

The deal comes two weeks after Shanghai Volkswagen announced it also extended its contract with MyClick to promote its Lavida model. Skoda is also a Volkswagen Group subsidiary.
