Singapore Tourism Board calls PR pitch

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has called a pitch for its PR business for its Singapore headquarters.

STB calls a PR pitch

The selected agency will be tasked to profile Singapore as a destination.

The contract for the business is believed to run for two years, commencing on 1 April.

STB's current agency is Burson-Masteller (B-M). The agency has held the account since 2005, and retained the business when STB last called a PR pitch in 2007.

B-M worked on initiatives such as STB's global branding campaign 'Uniquely Singapore II', the hosting of the inaugural United Nations Environment Awards and Singapore's participation in the Clipper Yacht race.

In the summer of 2010, STB released the creative work for its re-branding campaign 'Your Singapore'. Creative agency BBH Asia-Pacific revealed the various logo designs for the global campaign due to roll out across several international markets over the next few months, starting in Asia.

Leo Burnett Group is the global partner with BBH on this project, along with media buying and planning agency MEC.
