Singapore struggles to name World Cup sponsors

More than three in five Singaporeans were unable to name a single brand that sponsored the Fifa World Cup in a survey carried out during the tournament by research agency ACNielsen. <BR><BR> Released today, the results indicate adidas led the recall-rate with 13 per cent, closely followed by McDonald's with 11 per cent. <BR><BR> However, other brands demonstrated lower recall rates, including Hyundai (5 per cent), Coca-Cola (5 per cent) and Gillette (4 per cent). The survey also revealed that more than a third of Singaporeans are planning to watch the World Cup final.
