Singapore Police launch drunk-driving campaign

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Police Force has launched its first digital drunk-driving awareness campaign that highlights the repercussions of being caught driving while drunk in the country.

The campaign, developed by Pixel Media Singapore, targets 18- to 35-year-olds and includes banner ads that will run across sites including ebay.com.sg, Streetdirectory.com, mycarforum.com and Sgcarmart.com.

Singaporean gaming site Viwawa.com will additionally host a graphic education game that asks players to navigate their cars around beer bottles and other vehicles to make it home safely.

The Police Force’s game and subsequent contest, whose sponsors include Shell and Chevrolet, will run for two months until 15 February and awards players with weekly prizes.
