“Formula One is traditionally quite a macho sport, we don’t want to package the event into one for a male racing fans,” said Jeremy Cheung, MD of Impact Asia,“But we hope to attract more families with kids and young party animals to go and spend a long weekend in Singapore, and catch the excitement of the race and all kinds of live music and other entertainment available within the circuit park,” said Jeremy Cheung, MD of Impact Asia.
Singapore Tourism Board, which Impact Asia has been their PR agency since last year, is promoting special travel package for the event.
SingTel is the title sponsor for the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix.
Singapore Grand Prix is competing with visitors with the Formula One race in Shanghai and Malaysia in April, and Macau in November.
