SIA to announce shortlist

SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines will inform agencies in person this afternoon whether or not they have made the final short-list for the airline's S$100 million (US$60 million) creative account.

The eight contenders in the running include incumbent Batey, Publicis, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, DDB, Y&R and the newly created Bates-Ogilvy unit, Gold.

“SIA has decided to personally visit each agency's office to tell them if they are on the shortlist. A lot of effort has gone into the pitch and this is a way of SIA recognising that,” said a source.
