Sharp Indonesia in integrated review

JAKARTA - Japanese electronics giant Sharp is reviewing its advertising and media arrangements in Indonesia.

The pitch is the country's largest electronics pitch so far this year, with estimated annual spend more than US$2 million. A number of agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather and incumbent Dentsu, have been invited to present credentials in preparation for a mid-April pitch. The business was previously split between Dentsu and a number of local agencies.

The winning agency will be tasked to work across Sharp's entire product range. The integrated brief will include creative, media and activation.

The brief is expected to involve developing Sharp's 'Innovative technology' proposition. Sharp's advertising in Indonesia has been dominated by local celebrities, while global work also running includes 'Nothing is lost' for flat-screen TV brand Aquos.
