Second Life for sequel to Coke's 'Happiness factory' winner

Nearly a hundred glamorously-dressed avatars attended the online premiere of Coca-Cola's short film, Happiness factory - the movie, which took place in the online community Second Life.

The movie, a sequel to last year’s Cannes-winning ‘Happiness factory’ commercial, is once again set inside a make-believe world inside a Coca-Cola vending machine.

“The iconic Coca-Cola contour bottle and the enduring mystery of the brand’s secret formula come together to create a great piece of entertainment and an effective way for us to express the values of the brand,” said Marc Mathieu, SVP of global brand marketing and creative excellence, Coca-Cola Company.

The spot, developed by Wieden & Kennedy, is promoted by TV and poster trailers leading to the online cinema.
