SATELLITE & CABLE: Dual promotion for Marturano at HBO Asia
<p>HBO has promoted senior vice-president of sales and marketing James </p><p>Marturano to executive vice-president of HBO Asia and managing director </p><p>of HBO South Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>As executive vice-president of HBO Asia, Mr Marturano is to continue to </p><p>spearhead the sales and marketing efforts for HBO Asia, as well as focus </p><p>on business development for the company. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>As managing director of HBO South Asia, he will be responsible for </p><p>managing the operations of the new HBO venture in South Asia, which </p><p>spans India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Maldives. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Marturano, who helped set up HBO Asia in 1992, has been instrumental </p><p>in expanding the distribution and building of the HBO and Cinemax brands </p><p>throughout Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He also played a central role in developing the business in India, </p><p>Pakistan and Bangladesh. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
