SATELLITE & CABLE: CNA signs with Kabelvision
<p>Regional news and information provider, Channel NewsAsia, has </p><p>stepped into Indonesia following an agreement with Kabelvision, an </p><p>Indonesian cable TV company. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Channel NewsAsia is to reach an estimated 30,000 subscribers as </p><p>Indovision markets Channel NewsAsia to hotels and service apartments in </p><p>the country. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Shaun Seow, CEO, MediaCorp News, said: "Indonesia plays an important </p><p>role in our plan to launch in the region. With Asia being a region of </p><p>increasing importance in the global arena, we are dedicated to providing </p><p>our viewers with Asian perspectives of global events to enable them the </p><p>ability to formulate their own perspective in this fast changing </p><p>regional and global environment." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The channel became available to viewers on September 28. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
