SATELLITE & CABLE: Channel V signs new sponsors
<p>Channel V Greater China has signed up several new clients,

</p><p>sponsoring V Countdown,Rave Travellers, Chinese Top 20 and Club V.

</p><p>In Korea, Channel V and DoReMi Media have formed two joint ventures to
</p><p>create Channel V Korea and vkorea.com.

</p><p>The venture will incorporate the production of local television
</p><p>programming, distribution and commercial sales.

</p><p>Channel V will hold 33 per cent stake, with DoReMi holding a 67 per cent
</p><p>stake.

</p><p>Meanwhile, vkorea.com will be established through a second joint
</p><p>venture, with each party holding a 50 per cent stake.
</p><p><BR><BR>
</p><p>Channel V has also formed a partnership with DotMedia Studios; under the
</p><p>agreement, DotLove.com, produced by DotMedia, will be the dating,
</p><p>mating, relating and matchmaking website for Channel V.

</p><p>Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Channel V is now carried on the Indovision
</p><p>system in addition to the Kablevision service, together accessing 37,500
</p><p>homes.

</p><p>Finally, Star TV has increased its stake at Channel V to 87.5 per cent
</p><p>following the acquisition of shares from BMG and Warner Music. Star TV
</p><p>has now become the majority share holder in the music network, with EMI
</p><p>remaining as a partner.
