BBC World has signed a distribution pact with 21 members of Summit
Hotels & Resorts and eight Golden Tulip Worldwide hotels to carry the
24-hour news network.
As part of the new agreement, Summit Hotel & Resorts and Golden Tulip
Worldwide properties distributing BBC World will be featured on the
channel's website.
The BBC World site will also provide a hyperlink to the hotel groups'
own sites, through which visitors can make reservations online.
"This deal will enable us to extend the channel's reach amongst these
influential audiences, by making it available within these, some of the
most prestigous hotels in the Asia-Pacific region," said BBC World head
of hotel distribution Bill Mould.
