Sarnblad takes planning role at TBWA Singapore

SINGAPORE - Fredrik Sarnblad (pictured) has departed his role as regional creative planner at Y&R to become planning director at TBWA Singapore.

Sarnblad will begin his tenure at the Omnicom agency by focusing on its two big wins this year, Singapore Airlines and Resorts World Sentosa. He will report to TBWA\Tequila managing partner Robin Nayak.

Sarnblad leaves Y&R almost three years after joining the agency, prior to which he ran his own brand planning shop, Monkey Spank. “I just felt it was time for something new,” he said. “I’ve really loved working with the guys here but I just felt it was the best time to really broaden the view and take a step up and forward. It was really interesting meeting the guys at TBWA and it felt right culturally and in terms of how they approach creativity.”

Y&R regional creative planning director Rob Campbell said: “While I’m very sorry to see him go, I’m proud and excited to see what he works on such an iconic brand.”
