Sandhu, Joubert join Leo Burnett

Leo Burnett has beefed up its creative department, hiring Jatinder Sandhu as senior writer and David Joubert as senior art director.

The pair will work on all of Burnett's key accounts, including McDonald's and Nippon Paint and will report to the agency's executive creative director Steve Straw. "There will be no change (to the creative teams with the pair's arrival), just an energised creative department," said Straw. Sandhu joins from Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, where he spent three years as a senior writer, working on Lexus, Procter & Gamble brands, Guinness, the Singapore Navy and the Partnership for a Drug-Free Singapore. Joubert was previously an art director at Ogilvy & Mather Johnannesburg, where he worked on KFC, Avis, South African Tourism and Dove.
