According to Pongky Puranto, STI’s brand manager, the second presentation will take place on 27 August, with a decision expected in mid-September. Incumbent First Edition, which was on the initial shortlist, did not make the cut.
“They had the opportunity to present their ideas to us, but they did not do it well,” said Puranto. A source involved in the pitch has estimated the account’s total billings at US$1.5 million.
The first campaign is slated to run on 17 October.
