Saatchis brings in SA creative to lead Singapore

SINGAPORE: Saatchi & Saatchi is moving Brett Wild from South Africa to be executive creative director of the Singapore office, replacing Sion Scott-Wilson who has resigned for personal reasons.

Wild, who is currently creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa, will take over from next month.

Simone Bartley, Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore CEO, said: "Brett turned around the Johannesburg and Cape Town offices in two to three years and that those two offices combined won more awards at this year's Cannes Advertising Festival than any other African agencies.

Wild's new job is to ensure the Singapore office maintains a high creative profile in the Saatchi network, said Bartley, adding that it is also the ECDs' job to ensure the agency wins at the international award shows as well as dominate the local award shows. The Singapore office runs Hewlett-Packard and Lexus across the region. Other clients include Singapore Navy, Changi Airport, Burger King and Reebok.

Scott-Wilson, who joined Saatchi Singapore two years ago from Leo Burnett Sydney, said his decision was personal and his family wanted to return to Europe.
