Although Ruder Finn has not released a price tag for the account, the Pavilion itself is estimated to cost US$60 million to design, build and operate.
The Pavilion will focus on the theme of urban and agricultural sustainability and is expected to be one of the largest national pavilions at the Expo.
The World Expo is touted as the world’s second-largest global event after the Olympics. It is expected to draw 200 national and corporate participants and an estimated 70 million visitors worldwide into Shanghai next year.
