Rolls Royce seeks regional PR partner

ASIA-PACIFIC - Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (RRMC) is reviewing its seven-market PR account, with up to eight agencies understood to be involved.

Ogilvy PR, which is the incumbent agency is taking part, although Hal Serudin, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars corporate communications manager, Asia-Pacific, declined to confirm the identity of other agencies involved.

“This is part of our purchasing requirements, and does not necessarily reflect dissatisfaction with the incumbent,” he said. The brief will cover Hong Kong, China, Singapore, India, Japan, Korea and Australia, and will focus on corporate and product communications, with an emphasis on media relations, product and showroom launch events, said Serudin.

“We’re in a period of growth, both from an organisational and product perspective.”  A decision is expected by mid-December.
