Ritz-Carlton, Mercedes Benz collaborate in cross-brand partnership

CHINA - Ritz-Carlton is collaborating with fellow luxury brand Mercedes-Benz to offer mutually exclusive benefits to the members of its frequent-stay loyalty programme.

The collaboration will give Ritz-Carlton Rewards members access to Mercedes-Benz benefits and will enhance the relationship the brand enjoys with its luxury customers in China, according to Victor Clavell, vice-president, Asia, for Ritz-Carlton.

Ritz-Carlton Platinum Rewards members will receive complimentary access to the Mercedes-Benz VIP Lounge at airports, as well as chauffeured city-wide transport in an S-Class Mercedes-Benz in Beijing and Shanghai. They can also attend events such as Fashion Week, Auto Shows and Art Fairs sponsored by Mercedes-Benz.

On the other hand, Mercedes-Benz will have the opportunity to introduce its cars to Ritz-Carlton guests in China. Existing customers of Mercedes-Benz will also receive an upgrade to a suite when booking accommodation at Ritz-Carlton hotels in China.
