Reed praises CIBTM success

BEIJING China Business & Incentive Travel Mart 2005, held in late July, was pronounced a resounding success by organiser Reed Exhibitions. The three-day show occupied 4,300sqm and showcased 172 participating companies from 25 countries.

The event attracted 2,460 trade visitors, including 102 hosted buyers and 195 VIPs. The industry conference was attended by 704 trade visitors. CBITM has enjoyed tremendous support from local authorities and overseas enterprises. The Beijing Tourism Administration was instrumental in harnessing local industry support along with industry sponsors such BTI, CWT, Amadeus and CTS. Shan Wen, commodity manager - travel services, China Hewlett-Packard, commented: "As a professional business and MICE travel event, CBITM built up a communication and information platform creating an excellent opportunity for all buyers and suppliers."
