Reebok makes retail push

HONG KONG - Reebok has launched a retail assault on the Hong Kong market, following its formal incorporation into adidas Hong Kong this month, opening a slew of own-brand outlets to raise awareness among consumers.

According to Reebok spokespersons, the sports apparel brand is shooting to become the number three player in Hong Kong by 2010, behind adidas and Nike.

The first Reebok-franchised store launched in Mongkok, with the 1,000 square foot outlet carrying a range of sport and lifestyle products, including the limited edition Reebok x Atmos – Hanami collection.

Three additional stores have launched in Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island.
