Readership boost spurs am730 TVC

HONG KONG Local freesheet am730 has unveiled a new TVC to capitalise on its leadership position.

Created in conjunction with production house B Blue Sky, the ad features an office executive on his way to work at 7:30am, before another man snaps his hand off — 'snapping hands' is a colloquial Cantonese phrase for 'selling like hotcakes'. "It ties in with the results of the latest Synovate Media Atlas — for a last three quarters, our readership has risen from 455,543 to 477,920, ¨ said Danny Fung, executive director of am730.

The survey shows readership direct competitors Metro Daily and Headline Daily falling. At present, however, am730's circulation and readership lag behind both.
