Sources suggest Mantra Analytics, a Bangalore-based analytics solutions provider, and Marketics, which has offices in both Bangalore and Haryana, are believed to be among the companies in negotiations with Rapp Asia.
The news follows Rapp India’s
appointment of Venkat Mallik as the president of its India operations at the beginning of the month. Mohammed Sirajuddeen (pictured), CEO of Rapp Asia, said Venkat’s appointment as president “reinforced our commitment to deliver world-class data-driven marketing services to our clients in this part of the world.”
Sirajuddeen was appointed in March . His goal is to consolidate the Rapp network’s resources in the region following the agency’s appointment to a portion of the Hewlett-Packard business won by Omnicom Group.
However, last week the company
closed its Manila office.
Rapp Asia declined to comment on the acquisition.
