Ramsey succeeds Einhorn as McCann A-P chief

TOKYO - Eric Einhorn (pictured) is relinquishing his role in charge of McCann Worldgroup Asia-Pacific to return to New York, with McCann Japan chief Kevin Ramsey adding regional oversight to his current role in charge of McCann Worldgroup Japan.

Einhorn, who took over Asia-Pacific in early 2006, will retain his global chief strategy officer position at McCann’s New York HQ, and – according to McCann – will focus on expanded responsibilities heading key strategic programmes.

Ramsey joined McCann Japan in November 2004, and has had success in growing the agency’s operation in that market.

Formerly COO and president of JWT Asia-Pacific, he also spent one year as president of M&C Saatchi Asia.
