PwC forecasts strong growth for A-P

HONG KONG - Online advertising in Asia-Pacific is expected to continue its strong double-digit growth for the next four years, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Entertainment and Media Outlook 2007 study, released today.

The region, driven by strong growth from China, India and Indonesia, is expected to see a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.8 per cent from US$7 billion in 2007 to $13 billion in 2011.

The United States though is expected to see similar growth at 16.1 per cent to $35 billion during the same period, with the EMEA region reaching almost $22 billion.
