Publicis takes on senior execs for China operations

Publicis China has moved to strengthen its operations, appointing three new executives to help drive the agency into 2006.

Former BBDO business director Fanny Yum has joined the Beijing office as business director, along with Daphne Lee, who also joins as business director. In Shanghai, moving over from Publicis Taiwan, Frances Wu has been named director of client service on L'Oréal. Wu's previous experience includes Nissan, Philips and Mead Johnson infant formula. Yum has worked on a number of multinational brands, including Motorola, Unilever, Nestlé and HSBC. In her new role, she will mainly focus on the Cadbury and Western Union business, as well as driving new business for the agency. Before joining Publicis, Lee worked at Samsung in Beijing and Saatchi & Saatchi Taipei.
