Publicis Shanghai appoints Akae Wang as creative partner

SHANGHAI - Publicis Shanghai has appointed Taiwan advertising veteran Akae Wang as creative partner, in a wave of new hires that are expected to bolster its creative team.

Wang is expected to begin his role at the start of August. He has already resigned from Taiwan David Advertising, where he served as ECD, and his successor already started working in May.

Wang, who started his advertising career at Euro RSCG, has successfully served various clients including big names like Microsoft Taiwan, Compaq and Philips.

Earlier this month, Publicis Beijing announced that it had appointed Mark Chung as ECD, replacing outgoing ECD Keat Soh who resigned after being with the company since 2009.
