Wang is expected to begin his role at the start of August. He has already resigned from Taiwan David Advertising, where he served as ECD, and his successor already started working in May.
Wang has successfully served various clients including big names like Microsoft Taiwan, Compaq and Philips in his advertising career that started in 1993. He joined Euro RSCG in 1994, and left for Cable Time in 1999. In 2000, he joined Ogilvy, and stayed there for two years, until he was hired by David Advertising in 2002.
Earlier this month, Publicis Beijing announced that it had appointed Mark Chung as ECD, replacing outgoing ECD Keat Soh who resigned after being with the company since 2009.
