Publicis reshuffles Beijing leadership

BEIJING - Publicis Guangzhou MD Ke Yang will move to Beijing to become CEO of the agency's office in that city, with current MD Marian Koa expected to take up a new role within the organisation.

Ke will retain his national new business director duties at Publicis. His position in Guangzhou is expected to be filled by current CD S.C. Low. Publicis China CEO Sheena Jeng also dismissed speculation that the Beijing office was plagued by poor staff retention.

“Our turnover rate there is slightly lower than the average for China agencies,” said Jeng. “Sometimes we just need to identify young, hungry people.”
