PTT rebrands for premium image

PTT has announced plans to invest more than 1 billion baht (US$25.3 million) in building premium petrol service stations as well as rebranding its existing properties.

Vitaya Wangchitaruck, executive vice-president, retail marketing, PTT, said: "We are promoting our gas stations as 'Pump in the Park'. With tight oil margins, we need to move into newer territories like the non-oil business," explained Vitaya. Built on an area of almost a hectare, the flagship outlets will provide a range of services, including banking, restaurants, fastfood outlets, 7-Elevens and drug stores. They will be located in provinces such as Chiang Mai, Chumphon, Songkhla and Saraburi. Targeted at middle- and upper-income motorists, the PTT premium outlets will also promote Gasohol 95 Plus, developed by PTT to differentiate itself from competition.
