Prudential Japan selects Dentsu

TOKYO - Dentsu has landed Prudential Japan's creative account, estimated at up to US$12 million in revenue, following a final round shootout against Ogilvy & Mather.

Although details of the final agreement are still being confirmed, it is believed that the agency’s scale in Japan played a key role in its victory.

Dentsu and Ogilvy were shortlisted after the initial phase (Media, 27 June), which also included Hakuhodo (which had worked with the financial services company on a project basis), DraftFCB and McCann Erickson.
