Entries are now open for the 25th PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, marking a quarter-century of celebrating the most impactful public relations work across the region.
A long-standing fixture on the industry calendar, the PR Awards honour the campaigns, agencies, teams and individuals behind some of Asia Pacific’s most influential communications work. The 2026 programme reflects how the discipline continues to evolve with a significant expansion of categories this year.
What’s new for 2026
This year, we’re launching a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Awards segment to recognise PR work that uses AI in thoughtful, creative and responsible ways. New AI categories include Best AI-Driven Campaign, Best AI PR Stunt and Best Generative AI Innovation, among others
Several existing categories have also been rejigged. Within the Campaign Awards, Sport and Esports/Gaming are now recognised as separate categories, while Lifestyle/Travel has been added to reflect the sector’s growing influence across the region. Finance Communications has been updated to Financial Services/Banking, and within Effectiveness, Best Brand Collaboration and Best Use of Immersive Technology have been introduced
As always, judging will be conducted by a senior jury of agency leaders and in-house communications professionals from across Asia-Pacific. Jury announcements will be made in the coming months.
Grand Prix awards
The Campaign of the Year and Agency of Excellence awards will again be determined by a points-based system, calculated from Gold, Silver and Bronze wins across Campaign, Effectiveness and Artificial Intelligence categories. A minimum of three Gold awards is required to qualify for either the Grand Prix honour
