PR Awards 2010 announces shortlist for Asia-Pacific

HONG KONG – Campaign has announced the shortlist for the PR Awards 2010 taking place on Monday 22 September at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong.

The PR Awards this year has a total of 24 categories for which the judging is lead by jury chair Anita Gupta, also the head of corporate communications and sustainability for Asia-Pacific and EEMEA at DHL Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (APEM).

This year's runner ups for the Asia-Pacific Network of the Year include Hill & Knowlton, Ogilvy PR Worldwide Asia-Pacific, Strategic Public Relations and Weber Shandwick.

The finalists for Mid-sized Agency of the Year are Impact Asia, Text 100 and Waggener Edstrom.

PR Agency Head of the Year can go to either Kumi Sato from Cosmo Public Relations, Andrew Thomas and Debby Cheung at Ogilvy PR, Ava Lawler at Text 100 and Nandita Lakshmanan from The Practice.

Those in the running for Young PR Professional of the Year are Jacquie Fegent-McGeachie from Pulse Communications, Tramy Leung from Waggener Edstrom and Xiao Yu Tan and Shashin Surti both from Weber Shandwick.
