The print ad shows a brown cardboard box with the logos of 10 agencies - Publicis, Ogilvy, Saatchis, JWT, Leo Burnett, Dentsu, Lowe, DDB and Euro RSCG - printed inside the box, and McCann’s logo printed outside the box.
Responding to complaints from various agencies, the PPPI’s Code of Ethics Committee declared that the ad violated two industry bans: comparative advertising and use of logos without permission.
