Philippine Airlines selects Redworks for BTL

MANILA - Ogilvy & Mather's Redworks has beaten Tequila Manila in the final round of a pitch to land the below-the-line account for Philippine Airlines' loyalty business, Mabuhay Miles Programme.

According to Arvin Sanchez (pictured), general manager, Redworks, the agency will being work on the programme this year, although details of the contract have yet to be finalised. Redworks will hanle BTL executions such as merchandising, direct marketing and point-of-sales print materials. This is its first pitch since Sanchez was appointed GM in July this year.

“This may be a small part of the entire Mabuhay business but we want to do a good job with the small account and then hopefully get a bigger slice of the pie when the time comes. Eventually, we want to pitch for its digital and CRM business,” said Sanchez.

Currently, Redworks has a staff count of less than 15 but Sanchez expects the number to double by 2009.
