PGI selects OMD in China

SHANGHAI - OMD China has been appointed media agency of Platinum Guild International (PGI) starting January 2009, after a pitch involving three agencies including incumbent Carat.

PGI is hoping to inspire a passion for platinum among consumers, ensuring the precious metal remains the jewellery of choice. 

“We need to utilise communication to differentiate platinum’s unique positioning within the metal category, to deliver a more impactful voice, and increase consumer awareness,” says Winnie Lee, MD, OMD China.
