P&G shifts Philippines media
Starcom has reportedly lost its grip over the mammoth P&G media account in the Philippines, with the US$100 million buying AOR handed to MediaCom and US$50 million planning duties given to Carat without a pitch. <BR><BR> The account shift deals a blow to Starcom's five-year hold over the Philippines' largest media account, whose key brands include Pantene and Tide. P&G country manager Pauline Lao declined to comment on the move, as did MediaCom regional head Kevin Clarke and Starcom CEO of Asia-Pacific, D Sriram.
