P&G ends Starcom hold on business
<P>MediaCom has reportedly secured Procter & Gamble Philippines' US$100 million media buying business, after the FMCG giant ended its local-market five-year relationship with Starcom. </P> <P>Meanwhile, the company's planning brief, worth $50 million, has been awarded to Carat without a pitch, according to sources. P&G country manager Pauline Lao would not comment on the speculation and stated that the company was still in the process of selecting its planning AOR. </P> <P>MediaCom and Starcom senior executives declined to comment, while Carat could not be reached.</P>
